I have a problem, reels I can't hear it in the game. how can i solve this, everything is ok in the setup.

Hi guys Please see some examples of possible set-ups you might want to try to get once you reach certain levels in the game. These are good quality gear for adequate levels and you might want to give them a try when buying new fishing equipment. Please keep in mind that there are different rods and reels available that you might like more - those are ONLY examples of some set-ups that might help some players to choose their rods and reels. FLOAT FISHING: -Telescopic rods Rod level 8 - Express Fishing Red Stick RS23 (Telescopic rod) 2.5 star quality Telescopic rod - 7m long with test 2-16 g and load capacity of 8.5 kg. For this rod I would use Mono Original 6.8 kg line 100m. 7m length of the rod will allow you to fish from the water bank. Rod level 16- Syberia Model One T700 (Telescopic rod) 3.5 star quality Telescopic rod - 7m long with 7-80g test and load capacity of 11.5 kg. For this rod I would use Snake Ultra Line 8.7 kg line 100m. 7m length of the rod will allow you to fish from the water bank. Rod level 22 - Falcon TL 800 (Telescopic rod) 4-star quality Telescopic rod 8m long with 3-15g test and load capacity of 22kg. For this rod I would use Snake Ultra Line 19.1 kg 100m. This is an excellent rod for targeting large fish species such as carp. The length of the rod depends on the spot we want to fish. If we are fishing from the boat (I would recommend shorter version) or from the water bank (longer version). Rod level 28- Blade Master 600 5 star quality Telescopic rod - For this guide I did choose the length of 6m for fishing from the boat - Amazing rod with 2 bonuses. Tagara reels are an excellent option when using mono line but they are not the best choice for using braided line. This is a very strong setup for targeting a large fish species. This amazing rod gives you 4 different bonuses: + 3 to the 'Using a match rig" ability; + 3 to the ' Fishing with match rod " ability; + 3 to the 'Use of Carp Hair rig" ability and + 3 to the 'Use of Carp Hair Pop-Up rig" ability. This reel will allow you to use mono line more often when fishing at different water bodies but this is reel with very good durability so even when used with braided line, the damage to your reels is very low. This reel will help you to land even large fish species in the game. For this set-up I used Snake Ultra line 42LB Blue 300m but if you need more line on spool, you could use braided line and add mono or fluorocarbon leader to your set-up. This powerful rod - length 3.6 m allows very long casting distance. This reel will allow you to use mono line more often when fishing at different water bodies but this is a reel with very good durability so even when used with braided line, the damage to your reels is very low. - The best setup for bottom fishing to target biggest fish species in RF4 game. This excellent baitcasting reel for all occasions. This reel has a light spool which makes it a perfect baitcasting reel for casting at longer distances with even relativity light baits. For this set-up (fishing at Kuori lake) I used Snake Power Braid 39LB SMO 300m and Simmons Pure fluorocarbon leader 38LB. Few important informations: - Please remember that your rod should be the strongest point in your set-up and line or leader should be the weakest. - When choosing your line please check your max rod capacity, spool size of your reel and max drag of your reel, you also should consider wear damage of your tackle and always check the whole set-up that you are using before starting fishing. - Remember that better quality equipment (more stars) wears of slower, so you do not need to repair it or replace it as fast as lower quality equipment but you might need to pay a bit more once you need to repair or replace parts of your equipment. - Using braided line makes your equipment wear faster. When using mono line your fishing equipment wears slower but you will have less line on the spool. Levo

There are two types of baitcasting reels, classic and low profile. Classic baitcasting reels are usually stronger and designed for fishing large lures and for larger fish species. In contrast, low-profile baitcasting reels are designed for lighter lures and you can use them for fishing when targeting smaller fish species - they are very well suited for light and ultralight setups. Low profile baitcasting reels have a much larger capacity of line than small spinning reels, which is a very big advantage when we are planning to fish for small species in large, open waters. In RF4 baitcasting reels have an additional "test" parameter that regular reels do not have. Proper selection of the casting set - rod and reel in terms of the correct test- allows for really long casts, even with very small lures. Unfortunately, a decent baitcasting reel or high-end low profile reel cost a lot of silver. A classic spinning reel is more applicable because apart from spinning, we can use it for bottom fishing and float fishing sets as well. It is often enough to buy a spinning rod, and the reel only needs to be "flipped" from the other set, so you don`t have to spend extra silver on another reel, as opposed to the separate baitcasting set. Summarizing, both classic spinning and casting effectively catch all predatory fish species that are available in the game, so both are very good. Classic spinning is definitely cheaper and the spinning reel is more versatile. The baitcasting sets are more expensive, being an additional expense, but they deliver further and more accurate casts. Baitcasting reels have an additional parameter "test", and low profile baitcasting reels have a larger capacity of the spool than small spinning reels. Other important aspects are water depth, lure weight and reel ratio. Also remember there is no "golden rule" on everything, so next to this information, it is also worth to test everything yourself. Jig Step - In theory, a easy method: we cast the bait, wait until it sinks to the bottom and retrieve it by shortly rolling the line (0.5-1.5 turns of the reel) at the appropriate speed, followed by about 1 second pause, until the bait will fall to the bottom again and we repeat the whole process. In practice, under certain conditions, the achievement of the Jig Step can be very problematic, especially on rivers with fast currents. It is worth combining your speed with the wind, current, and depth as well as the length and frequency of pauses. Twitching - a technique of fishing used with wobblers, based on gentle "twitching" the rod using the right mouse button (RMB), which causes that the lure moves with small "jumps" to the sides imitating a sick fish... A simple, but very effective method. The speed of reeling (10-25) - start reeling and after 2-3 sec press RMB to make a twitch, reel again for 2-3 sec and repeat the twitch. SpeedUp - a sudden acceleration when the lure is reeled in to provoke the predator. It works on all types of spinning baits. After casting the lure, reel the lure over 3-4 sec at the same speed (preferably from 15 to 35) and then accelerate by holding the Shift button for 2-3 sec. At the moment of acceleration "SpeedUp" should appear and this is the moment in which the most bites occur. When it disappears, let go of Shift, again a few turns with the reel for 3-4 sec at normal speed and repeat the whole process. Stop & Go - The name of the technique explains a lot. It involves fast, aggressive rolling of the wobbler, followed by a short pause. This is an alternative option for Twitching. After dropping the lure, a quick 4-7 rotations of the reel at a reeling speed of 40-50, then a short, about 1-second pause ("Stop & Go" should appear) and then we repeat the whole process. The most bites occur at the moment of the pause in reeling or right after. Walk The Dog - In action, a very similar method to Twitching. Most popular, and in my opinion, the most effective way for using Jerks and topwater lures, poppers and walkers. Right-click jerk -> 1 to 2 reel turns to reel up the slack on the line -> RMB -> etc. The lure fished this way performs "slides" on the water, provoking the predator to attack. Reeling speed from 12 to 35, depending on the fishing conditions. Types of spinning lures : Spinners A classic, basic spinning lure that is available to all players from the beginning of the game. Best results fishing spinners we had during daytime, not so much during nighttime. Spoons Spoons are one of the favorite lures in RF4, they are very universal. Most ingame predators can be caught using spoons. By far the most popular technique of fishing with spoons is Jig Step, which is very effective for predators feeding in the lower parts of the water both during day and night. They also work well when trolling. It's worth combining and testing different color variations, sometimes the color change can change a lot. You can successfully hunt for most predators, but especially for species such as Lake Trout, Asp, Burbot, Arctic Char, Kuori Char, Sevan Trout, Atlantic Salmon, Zander, Pike or Taimen. Wobblers Wobblers are artificial baits that look like a small fish or other aquatic animals. A very important factor to pay attention to it is the depth of glide of a particular wobbler. When the depth of descent is too large and the wobbler will "hit" the bottom during retrieval, its action will be ineffective and it will have a very negative impact on the number of bites. In our opinion, it's best to use them with Twitching or Stop & Go. When Fishing with wobblers the stiffness of the rod is very important, especially when fishing with smaller lures. We had the best results during the day, at night they feel slightly weaker. Depending on how deeply the wobbler goes down, we can target predators in the upper parts of the water, as well as those that feed closer to the bottom. Wobblers are effective fishing species such as Caspian Salmon, Lake Trout, Asp, Arctic Char, Kuori Char, Golec Kuori, Atlantic Salmon, Zander, Perch, Pike and Chub. Poppers and Walkers Poppers are topwater lures that create attraction for predators on the water surface during fishing. The best results we had using the Walk The Dog technique. Most bites we had in the morning and in the evening, as at night was a bit poorly. A strong wind can negatively affect the amount of fish caught. With their aggressive work, they can provoke all predators preying the upper parts of the water, in particular species such as Pike, Taimen, Asp, Lake Trout, Chub and Perch. Jerks Jerks are wobblers without a diving "fin". You can use them by vigorously trimming the end of the rod using the right mouse button (RMB), preferably in order to get the Walk The Dog method. As a rule, they are large lures for large predators, mainly for pike and salmon. Sometimes a Perch, Lake Trout, Arctic Char or large Asp will also take the jerk bait, generally most predators feeding in the upper parts of the water. For using Jerks you need a jerk rod and the unlocked skill "Using the rig with jerk bait". Jerks should especially interest those players who hunt for large pike specimens. Note: we had poor results when fishing with jerk baits at night. Wacky worms Rubber lures imitating worms. When fishing Wacky, we have the chance to catch almost every fish species in the game. Not only predators but also non predatory species. You never really know what will bite on Wacky when trolling. There is no single technique and no one could tell us how we should retrieve this bait. Wacky worms can be used in various ways and everything can be effective. Both very slow, steady retrieval of the bait, which almost scrubs the bottom (reeling speed 4-12), reeling with higher speed (monotonous and with intervals), raising the bait from the bottom or trolling. You can combine it in various ways. The undoubted disadvantage of these lures is that it attracts a lot of small fish and often it is hard to catch something bigger. Bites from really small species might be reduced by changing the size of the lure. Fishing with Wacky can give you a lot of fun. Effective both day and night. Spinning - Ultra Light setup UL is a very light and delicate setup that is able to cast a very light, small lure. A thin line, a small reel and an ultra-light rod make fighting medium-sized fish a big challenge even for an experienced angler. A great option for fun, especially for more experienced players. Unfortunately, a decent UL set is a huge cost, but you can always buy a cheaper light rod, which has a slightly higher test but is still suitable for small and light lures. The game also has a separate table with UL records, where you can win weekly prizes. It is important when choosing the right setup to remember about rod test and reel test - the correct setup will cast even very light lures a long distance. For a set to be considered UL, the power of the rod must be defined as "Ultra Light" as in the picture below. It can be both spinning and a casting rod. A small lure and a thin line/leader have a very positive effect on the number of bites. Hi guys I noticed that a lot of you are worried about the wear on your reels especially when using more expensive reels. Please see some tips below that will help you to slow down wear on your rods, reels and to save money when repairing your gear at the workshop: - Best quality equipment (more star rating) wears of slower, so when buying your equipment, please consider it, as it will save you money in the future. - Using braided line makes your equipment wears off faster. - Use mono lines as much as possible - mono lines wear off your rod and reels much much slower than braided lines. - Use the "right"/correct setup for the water body you fishing in and for the fish species you are targeting: * Don't "waste" your very powerful reels and rods when fishing for small fish species. I wouldn't recommend to use Mayor 6000 or Everest 2 8000 when targeting Bream, Ide on Volkhov or Zeiman Rocket Jet when targeting Char, Artic Chars at Kuori Lake - use less powerful reels and rods to save money on repairs. * When making a your setup, please remember that your rod should be stronger than your reel and line. When choosing a rod, reel and line remember that different types of rods/reels/lines are intended to fish for different species. Use heavy carp rods and stronger reels when fishing for carps, barbel, sturgeon and other large species. * Line and/or leader should be the WEAKEST point in your setup - you don't need 25 kg line to get a fish that weights 25kg - you will be fine using a 15kg line. - Let the bigger fish run for a bit - work with your friction brake- don't lock it, don't keep it at 27-29 at all times, give the fish freedom to get tired on lower drag and once the fish is tired then slowly increase the drag on your reel and land the fish. - Don't let the color on the stress indicator go to red when you are fighting a fish - once the stress indicator is on red - your gear is wearing a lot faster than normal: - Don’t do forceful reeling when fish is fighting and running away from you, take your time, reel in slowly once the fish stop running/fighting - less damage to your tackle. - Walk after the fish so you can land it faster - once the fish is tired you not need to reel fish 100 m - you can slowly walk to it, also use the current to your advance. - Explore the water body you want to fish in - calculate and test how much line you really need - you might be fine with a 120m mono line on your reel and you might not need 250m braided line for that water body - saving money on repairs. - Targeting all the time bigger fish species and landing them will earn you more silver(in game currency) you will also get more experience from them but please expect that your equipment will wear off faster as well - bigger fish fights harder and make more damage to your gear. For example landing a trophy Russian Surgeon will earn you 1500 + silver coins so please expect that your equipment will get some damage when fighting it, and some of your silver will go towards repairs - this is how the game works.
