Beloribitsa Whitefish
Also known as Stenodus Leucichthys. This is a semi-anadromous fish of the salmon family (Salmonidae). It inhabits the waters of the Caspian Sea Basin. It is a valuable commercial fish. The basis of the juvenile whitefish's dite are crustaceans, as well as insect larvae. Adults feed exclusively on fish. It has an elongated, spindle-shaped body of silver color, brownish-blue back and a white belly. The dorsal and caudal fins are brownish-gray, all others are gray colored. An adult whitefish can reach 130 cm in length and weigh up to 14 kg.

I’m trying to put the puzzle together lol. The current weekly leaders are all part of the same team. They are using baitfish. Bleak / gudge. They gotta be fishing from shore. My guess is that 6m hole right at the end of the small river. I want to test it but don’t have any alive bleak or gudge lol

From my last experience and from what I can read on Russian forum since yesterday - whitefish has moved from last spots.

I was able to get one 3kg near the dock casting as far as I can to the middle of the river but its dead otherwise. Still no new hotspot, will inform ya folks if I find anything!

I had two of those ( 6kg and 4kg ) from the very smal island in H8 square casting towards deeper area. Also had there 1 russian sturgeon and 1 stellate sturgeon + 2 big perches. All in about 1hr 30min so kinda slow but worth taking a closer look ;)

yeah thats a good spot for sturgeon and sterlet, and was good for a few whitefish too, I went there yesterday but only had sturge and sterlets, no whitefish at all....might be worth another try based on your post..

@bart86plyeah theres a few coming in from there, i saw a few reasonable ones being caught when i was fishing there today, but not hotspot levels of catches.... i only managed a single whitefish myself 😛

Its a good spot for mixed fishing though, I had these three other trophies , which was a bit of a bonus and made up for the lack of whitefish, a bit anyway, didnt make up for the silver the whitefish would earn though...

Russian and german forums have been catching them at 70-100(I think it was..the spot west of 'town) But of course Im sure those other regions get better bite rates for things due to the player bases.

Spent about a month  off and on trying to catch this trophy, many hours harvesting baitfish and feeding the perches at tuba.. although I had one about 2 weeks earlier it spooled out too much line on a  lighter setup and got hung up on island with no way to retrieve 🙄   Spot- 52:138, clip 24m  Bleak

Anyways:

Yes it was, took a boat down to where it was hung up and dead against the beach and it was probably a 20kg+.   It set a fully repaired gold 80 on fire with same  rod and 17kg leader with 22kg line Barely stopped it before I ran out of line.  Actually figured it was Caspian brown trout or very large Asp but it was a belo.
