Hi there!

A short review about 71.100 for blue bream.

They're active now, and you can have a good fishing there.

Spot: 71.100

Clip: 20-25m, cast to the bridge, or towards the hole

Spoiler

rf4_4.0.11430_20190311_212511.thumb.png.877239a1f61df52725caca0c570eb612.png

Rig: inline rig (for me)

Baits: redworm only for me

Groundbait: the hempseed component seems to be important, so you can make a groundbait with hempseed oil or hempseed flour (screenshot)

Leaders: go for fluoro 3.1kg leader. It works even better on 2.2kg, but beware, it's quite risky

Results: decent blue breams fishing, even if I did not get a trophy. There are nice vimbas and white breams too. Beware, tons of roaches too. Around 200 silver per hour + orders.

The 71:100 is very live indeed! Funny thing, with the same setups as you guys I did not get any Blue Breams yet, just net after net of fat Roach that I immediately made in to tasty dry fish!

Not a single blue bream? This is weird 😮 .

Are you casting approximately like other people? Like 20-25m clip towards the bridge?

By this time I got a few and my first 780g trophy Blue. Looks like I was casting little too far - did not set the clip.

BTW - I had no idea that trophy Blue gives so much silver, I got around 100 for it!

Here is the lucky setup:

Got a very fun day around the same spot today (95:110) , lots of white breams with trophies, good few ruffie trophies and one blue bream trophy (made a post with setup in the fish subforum).

Pretty much use very light setup with leadres up to 3.2kg and small hooks. Best baits on Redworm. Lots of folks getting same results from what I can see.

Its a decent money maker and it wont destroy your wallet with repairs.

Have you tried the 101:37? I think it still works but breem above 1kg pretty much only bites at night and when its cold.
Casting S, clip 15-20m. Hook med 8 - large 5, fluoro 6/7kg. Nightcrawler/Garlic/Cottage cheese dough.
