So you spin with S88H (24.5kg) and Proton Pro 6000 (9.5kg) and Simmons 34LB (15.6kg). Why 15.6kg line on 9.5kg reel? Is it safe?

Hello, SirCatchAlot,
It's safe, yes, max drag isn't the same as max load it can handle, with 3,5+ star reels I suggest using line 1.5x stronger than your max drag, that way you will be able to use 100% of the strenght of your reel. Remember that you always can use a leader to be your weakest link on the setup, in that case he's using 15kg leader to snap before the line, preventing lose line lenght.

Pindo.

Can you do a guide on Sbirolino rigs and how to use them .

With info on the float , slow sinking and fast sinking Sbirolino's

What retrieval methods you should be using to maximize catch rates.

All i have manage to do using them is get ( retrieval with pause and stop and go )

i have never used a Sbirolino rig irl so i have no idea on what your supposed to do with them , retrieve like spin , texas ,jig ect or just let them sit in the water, and i think theres a lot other players in the same boat as me .

thanks

I have 2 questions.  1-  Can you tell me how to setup a good jig rig? How much (weight) hook goes with silicones? 2- How to made good carp leader?  Idk nothing about that. i made 27 kg flouro carbon leadder and that doesn't match with feeder setup, only with spinning setup.

  1. It really depends on the species you are targeting, and the location. Heavier heads are better for higher currents. Hook size of the jig helps you target a particular species.
  2. You have to make feeder or hinged leaders for bottom fishing.

Hello,
I would use a 17.4kg leader with around 18kg line, that should be good. Also, a catfish with that gear might be a hard task, be carefull.

Hello,
These are my suggestions:
Caliber/Narga: I would use anything around 18-22kg , you gotta be very carefull with the stronger fish, following it around. On amber lake, you would need to use braided line.
Tagara: You can use anything from 28kg to 36kg, also, following the big fish around the shore.
You shouldn't have problems on bear lake if you have around 150m line and following the fish.
Have this sequence of stronger to weaker: Line > LeadCore > Leader.

Pindobinha.

Thank you very much. Can you tell me also, is it better to use mono or braided line on tagara and (narga, caliber)?  (For bear lake)

Hello,
Always use mono line if you can, it damages about 50% less your equipment.
If you can get around 140m of line on your spool at bear lake, you should have no problems.

Pindobinha.
