SJK
Hello everybody. Today we head to Amber Lake in hopes of finding some rare carp, after hearing that Vanilla and Esterberry is working quite well we decided to stick the smaller boilies on in hopes we would attract the rare carp. I wasn't going here specifically for large trophies hence the small boilies but you never know. I was very happy with this session, 610 silver in around 1 hour 30 which isn't too bad all things considered. If you go with the smaller boilies, expect a good bite rate but much smaller fish. I also released any non tagged so i believe we had around 50/55 fish in the hour and 30. Along with two rare carp which i'm happy about. We wasn't too far off getting a trophy frame sided carp too.

SickOfBlueMilk
great post, however I love the fact that used smaller baits on a 4/0 hook :D, try again with a size

I generally use 4/0 hooks on Amber as i never tend to use smaller boilies. A case of forgetting to change!

SJK
Hello everybody. Today we are attempting to close the Trophy Ide on Mosquito. I've been hunting this for a while and recently saw a post a few people getting trophies so here we are. Currently at 78.90 around the corner of G3 Absolutely delighted I managed to get the trophy I've been looking for. The bite rate is really good with 19 fish in just over 1 hour 7 minutes, with the trophy coming shortly after the hour mark. Started very well with two over 3kg then went down hill until the last minute!

SJK
Hello everybody. Today we are heading to Bear Lake to catch some carp. I've actually heard there are many Leather and also Mirror at this spot, and I'm still after the Leather Carp and Common Carp trophy, the Leather Carp isn't really a fish you can trophy very often now days. If i can pull at least 5 Leather Carp out of this session I know there is a chance to get a trophy! Clip 23 We did a total of 3 hours fishing which was split into two 1 hour 30 sessions. I was impressed with the amount of Leather Carp which means there is 100% a trophy here if you sit here long enough, I still have around 60 PVA left so I shall return in a couple of trips time and try another session to see if I can get it. We did manage to catch 75 tagged fish in 3 hours of fishing and for bear that isn't too bad at all. It's a shame we didn't get a trophy, but as we all know, you're never going to get a trophy every trip.
SJK
Hello everybody. Today we are heading to Lower Tunguska River and we're doing some Ultra Light fishing, since we've been doing mainly feeder fishing lately it's always good to mix it up. Firstly let me say I don't have much luck on Tung, I've yet to actually catch a trophy and I've done quite a few trips with the UL set up. We are targeting Trout, Grayling and Salmon today. Our plan today is to do two day session, roughly 6am-9pm on both days, so just over 1 hour real life fishing at this spot. It's also worth noting that with todays set up I don't actually have any points in spinnerbaits as I've got no points left to allocate, though my rod will give me an additional 2. 101.102 - Straight Retrieval 25 Very happy with todays trip, I really wasn't expecting a trophy as I mentioned in the objective. I just came here to enjoy the view of different fish rather than carp fishing. We made over 700 silver in about 1 hour and half fishing which is brilliant! We also had a additional 0.1% in our spin skill taking us to 97.1 and we had 50 tagged fish (we released over 40 non-tagged fish) Edited August 24 by SJK additional images
SJK
Hello everybody. Today we are heading to Sura to fish for Volga Zander, and it's not something I've ever fished for specifically. Hopefully we can close the trophy as we need it for the card. 98.40 - Jigstep Retrieval 50 Not a bad session at all, sadly we didn't get a Volga above 1kg and the trophy is 1.4kg. I'm not entirely sure my set up was completely right, I've never fished for them so any tips would be great on this occasion but in all fairness we caught over 30 of them in just over a hours fish which tells me the trophy is there. SJK
Hello everybody. Today we are heading to Ahktuba to fish for Short Headed Barbel, I still need this trophy for the card so it would be great to achieve this. I'm assuming with this set up we'll end up pulling other fish in like Wild Carp so lets see what happens. 73.49 - Clip 20 Couldn't of gone better than that, it was late last night before so we only ended up spending 30 minutes there and in that time we managed to catch a few including the trophy!
SJK
Hello everybody. Today we are heading to Winding Rivulet to target Donets Ruffe. We have yet to catch any trophies on this map, as I've never really fished it much today is a great opportunity to probably go for one of the hardest ones to trophy Remember, Donets Ruffe are more active during the night so i tend to log off during the day. I plan to do 3 45 minute separate sessions during night to see if I can close the trophy and I'm fully expecting to get lots of bycatch while trying to close this trophy. 99.121 - Clip 10 This is a picture from user LoveTheSunShine which tempted me to go and trophy the Donets, will our luck be as good as his? Well we managed to do 3 sessions, from around 6pm till 9am and it went about as expected. Lots of Bycatch and very little Donets, though this rate is about average to what you would normally get per night so in that sense the luck just wasn't on my side, but they are here and that's the main thing. As you can imagine every trip I do won't include a trophy, the game isn't that easy there will be times where you see fails I also noticed during these 3 sessions I was casting over the weeds, I was told to cast towards the white tree as below. We shall try again in a couple of days.
SJK
Hello everybody. Today we are heading to the sea to improve our Marine Fishing skill and earn some silver. We are at about 95% marine and I'm hoping to have the final push in the next week or so to get 100% and finally purchase the heavy boat rod. I am also releasing untagged fish. Very happy and a brilliant bite rate, made some great silver for just over a hour! 80 tagged fish is very good. Recommended to level your skill and make some good silver. Still looking for the Sardine trophy though.
SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to Bear Lake. Right now Bear Lake is pretty hot, the spot I'm going has every type of carp and also has golden tench, which is the reason we are here, we need this trophy. I am only keeping tagged fish during this trip Clip 21 A really good spot, you will have lots of bites, with using 16 you'll also get small carp with the occasional golden Tench and black carps also, there is lots of potential to get trophies in this spot if you sit here long enough. Over the next couple of days i shall be rotating between the sea trying to get 100% skill and bear lake to get either the golden Tench, leather, black carp or common carp trophy that I need.
SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to the Sea. I want to talk about this spot a little more in depth, because the last week or so I've been trying numerous combos with the shrimps, I've tried all pink which was good, but I wasn't getting the fish I wanted (Saury & Sardine) I'm desperately trying to get the Sardine trophy and the other shrimps was only getting a few, so I was looking for a way to get more Saury and more Sardine, but I think I've found the best combo so far. The most important part is to CLIP. If your lure sinks to movement in the bottom layer you'll start attracting cod and other fish, which is fine for silver, but if you want specifically target Saury and Sardine for either levelling skill and they're also great silver. The clip we use is 25 We fished in the end for about 2 hour during intervals of my evening, I did about a hour and then went offline and came back a hour or so later. We didn't get the trophy, but my plan worked in terms of the clip, we had the most Saury and Sardine we've had in a long long time. So the combo and the clip really helped us, sadly there was also a few Saithe, but this is good for us making fillets anyway so it's not too bad. We actually filled our net with 150 tagged fish! In the end we wanted more Saury and Sardine and this is how it looked; Saury - 58 Sardine - 37
SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to the Sea. One of the other small fish I need is Blue Whiting and I believe a spot has appeared finally! So today we head specifically for Blue Whiting, I'm thinking we do a 30 minute session, 5am till about 5pm and hopefully also get some bycatch as the Blue Whiting isn't the best in terms of silver, but it makes a nice change from Saury. Today we will keep all fish, tagged and untagged just to see how many we get in total in 30 minutes. The clip we use is 25 64 fish in 30 minutes, can't really complain. I will be using this spot for a while until i get the blue whiting trophy! Not too bad silver either, just under 500 I'm happy with that small session
SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to Bear lake to see if the spot is still hot and ideally get a couple of trophies. We're after the black/golden tench and common carp trophy. Why is this trip different? We're actually using a different PVA, I've decided to take the the bigger boilies and replace the additive with corn to see if there is any difference at all. We are fishing at 55.63 with a clip of 12 Well we got the trophy!! Finally. We did manage to get 1 Tench but nowhere near trophy size sadly. I'm assuming this spot will die off pretty soon and doesn't look likely that we'll get the trophy golden.
SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to Bear lake but we're trying something different! White Bream! Everybody always needs the white bream and bear and I've noticed a spot I really want to try, so lets see if we can catch some. We are fishing at 54.27 with a clip of 19 Sadly we couldn't get the trophy, but the good news is the white bream are there and you just need some RNG. As always these tend to bite during the day and not the night. Overall not a bad session, the idea of this trip was to make sure they was here, I will try again over the next few days.
SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to the Sea and we are trying to get the Sardine trophy, still! It's a fish now that I just can't seem to get, no matter what I try. Though having looked at a few posts, we're going to go with all the orange 7.5 shrimps. Normally I would use 6.5 pink and get lots of Saury, but this isn't about silver. It's about getting the sardine trophy. We shall still get Saury and should make a decent amount of silver. Today we will keep just tagged fish, we shall not be relogging and I'll probably sit here for around 3 hours. The clip we use is 20 I think we actually released over 100 fish in this 3 hour so the number of fish doesn't reflect how many we actually caught. I'm not happy, because we didn't catch the Sardine trophy! Overall though next time we may try 2/0 hooks instead of 3 and see if we can get any trophies, slightly disappointed i sat here for 3 hours without a single trophy, but sometimes this happens in RF4.
SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to the Amber Lake and the target is Ghost carp! We all know these are extremely rare and don't bite often. I've saw over 6 posts from yesterday regarding Ghost Mirror at this specific spot and I haven't seen it posted on VK or any discord server, but I never have luck with Ghost carp so we're going to try it. I have seen common carp trophies, frame sided carp trophies, mirror carp trophies and leather carp trophies also come out of here in the last two days. I am expecting to sit here for about 4 hours while I'm afk just to see what we can catch. Bear in mind this is more of a AFK spot and don't expect to make much silver! The clip we use is 35 and we are at 64.94 A extremely slow spot, I'm convinced if a few of us try it then someone will get the ghost trophy. They are here, it's just incredibly slow, but that was expected in the objective. Some decent size carp in all fairness, but if you need silver this isn't really the spot for you, it's a shame we didn't get any trophies, but we'll probably try this again in a few days. SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to the Belaya River to try and trophy the Grayling, I've heard they're biting pretty well and needed to close the trophy. We are using 35 straight retrieval at 71.37 Well we came and we conquered. That's the Grayling signed off. We actually only did about 40 minutes total fishing during the day, ignore the time caught, I did 20 minutes then had to work and returned when I finished work, a very good session for early level players. SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to the the sea to try something completely different with a lure I haven't seen many people use, don't ask why, I just fancy trying it! Sometimes when things aren't going my way I tend to just fish somewhere random with a random lure. Well I wasn't expecting to find a eelpout hotspot, and we almost got the trophy. I actually went here looking for Turbot, got 0 turbot and loads of eelpout but I already have this trophy, maybe this can help someone out. SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to the the sea to find Greenland Halbiut, never actually tried to fish for this so I did some research to see what's currently the best set up. During the trip I'll be semi afk so I'm expecting a very quiet session. We are fishing in the center of the 215m hole. I actually quite enjoyed fishing at the 215m hole, didn't know what to really expect! Great for some semi-afk fishing and I'll definitely be doing more of it If your expecting amazing silver, it's probably not the wisest fish to go for!
SJK
Hello everybody, Today we are heading to the the Kouri Lake to find Pike! Not something I tend to do on Kouri, normally if I go it's to troll, but I need the trophy for the card and it's pretty difficult to get. We are fishing at 72.113 and we are aiming to achieve "twitching" Well there is definitely pike here, they bite 4am-11am and after that it's pretty quiet, sometimes you'll get some 8pm-12am but overall I wasn't actually expecting this many pike!
